About this policy

Sunnify is a solar feasibility and savings assessment service for Singapore landed homeowners, operated as a sole proprietorship. This policy explains what personal data the website collects, how it is handled, and the rights you hold under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). It covers all pages on sunnify.sg.

The solar calculator

The calculator takes a Singapore address or postal code and returns an estimated annual savings figure. Processing happens in your browser through the Google Maps and Google Solar APIs. Sunnify does not store your address or your result. You see a full estimate without creating an account or providing any personal details.

Site survey bookings

If you book a free site survey, the booking form asks for your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and property address. Google Calendar captures this information and sends a confirmation to hello@sunnify.sg. Sunnify does not operate a separate database. Your booking details sit in that Gmail inbox and nowhere else.

How we use your booking data

We use your name and contact details to confirm the appointment, show up at the right property, and follow up after the visit. We do not use your contact details for marketing. We do not add you to any mailing list without your separate agreement.

Third-party services

Sunnify uses the following external services to operate the website:

• Google Analytics: page traffic and usage patterns. No names, emails, or addresses are sent to Google Analytics.
• Google Maps API and Google Solar API: address lookup and satellite roof data for the calculator.
• Google Calendar: booking management and appointment confirmations.
• Vercel: website hosting and delivery.
• Upstash Redis: a visit counter that tracks total estimates calculated across the site, not individual users.

Data processed outside Singapore

Google's infrastructure operates globally, including outside Singapore. When you use the calculator, book a survey, or browse any page, data processed by Google Analytics, Google Maps, Google Calendar, and Vercel may pass through or be stored on servers outside Singapore. Each provider maintains data transfer safeguards under their respective privacy frameworks. Google's practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Our installer partner

Sunnify works with BCA ME03 certified solar installers in Singapore. We do not share your name, contact details, or property address with any installer unless you agree, after the site survey, to proceed with an installation. At that point, the installer receives only what is needed to design and scope the system for your property.

How long we keep your data

We keep booking emails in our Gmail inbox for three years from the date of the booking. After three years, we delete them. To request deletion before that point, email hello@sunnify.sg and we will remove the relevant record within 14 days.

Your rights under PDPA

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data Sunnify holds about you.
• Correction: request that we update any inaccurate personal data.
• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw your consent to Sunnify using your personal data for any stated purpose.
• Data portability: request your personal data in a common format where technically practicable.

How to exercise your rights

Email hello@sunnify.sg with your request. Include enough detail for us to locate your record (for example, the name and email address used at booking). We will respond within 30 days. For withdrawal of consent, we will stop using your data for the stated purpose and delete it from our records within 14 days of confirmation.

Minimum age

Sunnify is for adults aged 18 and above. Property ownership and solar installations carry financial and legal responsibilities that require legal capacity. If you are under 18, do not submit a booking form or share personal details on this website.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date below the page heading. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy. Changes that materially affect how we handle personal data will be noted in the introduction of the page.
